What exactly is a Brain Bomb?
Brain Bombs are functional food bites made with whole-food ingredients including adaptogenic mushrooms, botanical extracts and healthy fats, nuts and seeds. They are a food product — not a medicine, supplement or medical device. Each box of six contains two each of our three profiles: Focus, Sustain and Recover.
How is this different from a regular snack?
Brain Bombs are formulated with functional ingredients — adaptogens, functional mushrooms, healthy fats, nuts and seeds that have a long history of traditional use and are the subject of ongoing nutritional research. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or medical condition.
What are the three profiles?
Each Brain Bombs Box of 6 contains two of each profile: Focus (Pistachio & Matcha) — features lion's mane mushroom and matcha. Sustain (Almond & Cacao) — features ashwagandha and raw cacao. Recover (Sour Cherry) — features sour cherry and ashwagandha. The profiles are distinct in their ingredient composition. All are plant-based and free from refined sugar.
How many should I have per day?
One Brain Bomb per day. We recommend taking it as part of a consistent daily routine. Do not exceed three per day.
Who are Brain Bombs suitable for?
Brain Bombs are suitable for healthy adults. They are not suitable for children under 16. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking prescribed medication or have a medical condition, please consult your GP or a qualified healthcare professional before consuming Brain Bombs regularly. What are the full ingredients?
Focus: Dark chocolate (26.3%), pistachio nuts (24.8%), avocado (20.5%), pumpkin seeds (12.4%), hemp hearts (11%), matcha green tea powder (4.4%), ashwagandha, lion's mane mushroom, maitake mushroom, dates (0.58%), salt (0.03%). Made with organic ingredients except avocado.
Sustain: Avocado (31.3%), ground almonds (27.9%), hemp hearts (20.1%), unsweetened cocoa powder (11.2%), coconut oil (8.9%), cocoa nibs (7.4%), ashwagandha, lion's mane mushroom, maitake mushroom, dates (0.67%), salt (0.03%). Made with organic ingredients except avocado.
Recover: Dark Chocolate 85% (40%), Tahini (SESAME) (21.7%), Raw Cacao Powder (13.3%), Coconut Oil (11.3%), Sour Cherries (10%), Ashwagandha Root Extract (KSM-66) (1.7%), Lion's Mane Mushroom (1.7%), Sea Salt.
Allergen information: Focus contains: tree nuts (pistachio). Contains cocoa. Sustain contains: tree nuts (almond). Contains cocoa. Recover contains: sesame (tahini). All variants: Made by Green + Grainy Limited. Made in a kitchen that also handles eggs, dairy, other cereals containing gluten, sulphites, mustard and celery. Allergens are highlighted in bold on packaging.
Are Brain Bombs suitable for vegans?
Yes. All three profiles are plant-based with no animal-derived ingredients, making them suitable for vegans and vegetarians.
Are they gluten-free?
Brain Bombs do not contain gluten ingredients. However, they are made in a kitchen that also handles cereals containing gluten. They are not certified gluten-free and are not suitable for people with coeliac disease.
Do they contain nuts?
Yes. Focus contains pistachio nuts. Sustain contains ground almonds. Brain Bombs are not suitable for people with tree nut allergies.
Do they contain caffeine?
Focus contains naturally occurring caffeine from matcha green tea. The caffeine content is low — significantly less than a standard cup of coffee — and is naturally balanced by L-theanine, an amino acid present in matcha. Sustain and Recover contain trace levels of caffeine from raw cacao.
Do they contain refined sugar?
No. Brain Bombs contain no added refined sugar. They are naturally sweetened with dates and lucuma — a fruit-derived powder with a naturally low glycaemic impact. The naturally occurring sugar content per piece is no more than 3g per serving.
Do they contain dairy?
No. All three profiles are dairy-free.
Are the mushrooms used safe to eat?
Yes. Lion's mane, maitake and reishi are culinary and functional mushrooms with a long history of use in food. They are not psychoactive. Brain Bombs uses fruiting body extracts only, verified by Certificate of Analysis (CoA) with beta-glucan content ≥25%.

What results can I expect?
Brain Bombs are a food product. We do not make claims that they will treat, prevent or cure any health condition. The ingredients in Brain Bombs have been studied in nutritional research contexts and have a long history of traditional use. Individual responses to food vary. We encourage you to keep a consistent daily routine and draw your own conclusions.
Are the ingredient benefits scientifically proven?
The ingredients in Brain Bombs — including lion's mane mushroom, ashwagandha, matcha and sour cherry — are the subject of ongoing nutritional research. We do not make authorised health claims for these ingredients, as specific health claims for adaptogenic mushrooms and botanicals are not currently listed on the UK register of authorised health claims (Regulation 1924/2006 as retained in UK law). Any references to research in our Journal are provided for educational purposes only and do not constitute health claims for our product.
Can I take Brain Bombs if I'm on medication?
If you are taking prescribed medication, please consult your GP or a qualified healthcare professional before consuming Brain Bombs regularly. In particular: Ashwagandha may interact with thyroid medication, immunosuppressants and sedative medications. Matcha contains caffeine, which may interact with certain cardiovascular medications. Are Brain Bombs a substitute for medical treatment?
No. Brain Bombs are a food product and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or medical condition. If you have a health concern, please consult a qualified healthcare professional.
Are Brain Bombs suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
We recommend that pregnant or breastfeeding women consult their GP or midwife before consuming Brain Bombs. Adaptogenic ingredients including ashwagandha are not recommended during pregnancy. Brain Bombs are not intended for use during pregnancy.
Are Brain Bombs suitable for children?
Brain Bombs are not intended for children under 16. They contain adaptogenic ingredients and caffeine (in Focus) that are not appropriate for children.
I have a specific health condition - can I eat Brain Bombs?
Please consult your GP or a registered nutritionist before consuming Brain Bombs if you have any diagnosed medical condition, particularly autoimmune conditions, thyroid disorders, liver conditions or hormone-sensitive conditions. We are not able to provide individual medical or nutritional advice.

How much does delivery cost?
Standard UK delivery is free on orders over £45. Orders under £45 are charged at £6.95. Delivery costs are calculated and shown at checkout.
Can I send Brain Bombs as a gift?

How long does delivery take?
Orders are dispatched within 24 hours of being placed. We ship via Royal Mail Tracked — you will receive tracking information by email once your order is on its way.
Do you ship internationally?
We currently ship within the UK only. International shipping is planned for the future. Please contact hello@brain-bombs.com if you are based outside the UK and we will notify you when international shipping becomes available.
What if my order arrives damaged or is not as expected?
Brain Bombs are a fresh food product. If your order arrives damaged, incorrect or you are not satisfied with the product, please contact us at hello@brain-bombs.com within 48 hours of delivery. We require photo evidence of the issue before we can process a refund or replacement. Where a valid claim is upheld, we will offer a refund or a replacement with your next batch. What is your returns policy?
As Brain Bombs are a fresh, perishable food product, we are unable to accept returns. If your order arrives damaged, incorrect or you are not satisfied, please contact us within 48 hours with photo evidence and we will arrange a refund or a replacement with your next batch. How does the subscription work?
Choose your delivery frequency at checkout — monthly, 6-weekly or 8-weekly. Payment is taken automatically on your chosen cycle. A reminder email is sent 5 days before each dispatch, giving you time to make any changes.
How much do I save on subscription?
Subscribers save 15% on every order — £23.38 per box instead of £27.50, with free UK delivery on every dispatch. Over 12 months, that is a saving of over £88.

What is a CGM?
A Continuous Glucose Monitor is a small wearable sensor that tracks blood glucose levels in real time. In our corporate workshops, CGM demonstrations allow participants to observe how their own blood sugar responds to food, stress and habits. It is one of the most effective practical tools for understanding the biological basis of afternoon cognitive performance.
What is The Feel Human Method?
The Feel Human Method is a half-day executive performance experience delivered in partnership with Feel Human, Dorota Cloke's precision nutrition practice. It is designed for leadership teams and combines performance nutrition education, live Continuous Glucose Monitor (CGM) demonstrations, nervous system tools and Brain Bombs as the daily cognitive reset ritual. Do you offer executive gifting?

What is the minimum order for corporate supply?
There is no formal minimum order. Corporate pricing and a dedicated account contact apply from orders of approximately £200 or more. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

STORAGE & SHELF LIFE
How should I store Brain Bombs?
Brain Bombs should be kept refrigerated at all times. Keep below 5°C.
Once opened, how long do they keep?
10 days refrigerated.
What is the shelf life?
Please refer to the Best Before date printed on the packaging. Brain Bombs should be consumed before this date.
Can I freeze Brain Bombs?
Yes — Brain Bombs freeze brilliantly. Store in the freezer and enjoy straight from frozen or after a few minutes at room temperature. Freezing is a great way to extend shelf life and make sure you always have some on hand.
